Weddings. I’ve officiated three weddings with another in the works. If called upon, I’ll work with you to craft a ceremony in alignment with your values and style. Love and beauty be the guides. I am happy to provide references from previous weddings performed, and I am a legally ordained minister.
Ceremonies for New Arrivals. I recently had the honor of helping to hold space through song, drumming, and prayer at a birth, and I would welcome this opportunity again. Ceremonies that can be helpful surrounding birth emphasize helping the new arrival to feel celebrated by both the living and the ancestors and being curious about the newborn’s destiny and specific needs. This may include suggestions around parenting and identifying ways to help the young one to stay connected to essence and a sense of purpose throughout their life.
Home Blessings and Space Clearings. For maximum domestic happiness and health it’s ideal to not be living with ghosts, to have the space reflect your intentions for your life, and to be in good relationship with the spirits of the land where you’re at. This kind of work contributes to a warm and loving home and often includes identifying ongoing practices to keep the space positive. My approach is to craft a home blessing ceremony and follow-up practices in alignment with the spiritual affinities and needs of those requesting the services, references from past home blessings available upon request.
Death Rites of Passage, Funeral Services, and Soul Guidance Ceremonies. I’ve officiated at the death of a family friend on one occasion and would be honored to guide last rites or funerals if asked. I would work with the ones requesting the services to craft a simple or more elaborate ceremony that both serves the needs of the one transitioning and the family on this side. Soul guidance ceremonies can also be helpful any period of time after physical death in situations where the deceased has not yet transitioned to become an elevated and helpful ancestor.
