For those drawn to earth-honoring spirituality, you'll find here links to trainings, commmunity circles, individual sessions, and learning resources. Specifically, we currently offer:
weekend trainings, monthly circles, and individual sessions focused on healing our relations with our ancestors
a year-long training and monthly community circles to honor the spirits who are the natural world
an annual wilderness quest at Mt Shasta and regular purification lodges in the S.F. Bay Area
occasional hands-on service events in the S.F. Bay Area (e.g. river clean-ups)
mentorship opportunities and individual support for practitioners of earth-honoring ways
The community earth-focused ceremonies are following a four-year elemental progression. Specifically in 2009 our focus was elemental Earth (link here) and we are now in the midst of a year of Water ceremonies (link here). In 2011 and 2012 the progression will continue on through Fire and Wind/Air, completing with a longer ceremony of celebration and earth healing over Winter Solstice of 2012.
Registration is now open for the Earth Medicine 2010 Summer Series and Autumn Prayer Walk for the Healing of the Waters. During Summer we'll meet once a month for rituals of heart and grieving around San Francisco: Healing_Our_Hearts_and_the_Waters1.doc. The five-day water ceremony will take place on the far north end of the San Francisco Peninsula, starting and ending at San Bruno Mountain.
