Healing Our Hearts and the Waters
Earth Medicine 2010 Summer Series
We come together this summer season to make ceremony to honor Water here in the Bay Area, a convergence place of many waters and many ancestral lineages. We will gather for three full days of ceremony around the longing and grief that touches all of us in our Earth-walk. By inviting Heart and Holy Grief, we remember together in sacred space that we all hurt, that we all long for healing with our extended Earth body, that we all love and all need love like clean water. These ceremonies are open to all, no experience with ritual required
Heartache, Rivers, and Rain
San Bruno Mountain State Park
Sunday, July 11th from 10am-4:30pm
The heartache that intimate relationships bring has visited most everyone willing to be honest. Whether the miserable choice to end a major relationship, the sting of rejection or betrayal, the death of a beloved, or the soul-mate shaped loneliness of year after year of being single, our longing leads us over and over into the thicket of heartache. We will gather to open our hearts to love and longing again and to make offerings to this sacred mountain elder. A mountain who has been made in recent centuries to feel the desecration of the She Who is Fresh Water in the form of pollution of the Bay, concrete breaking of Colma Creek, and destruction of precious Wetlands.
Registration for Summer Series
These gatherings are stand-alone rituals and they form a three-part series. The suggested contribution per day is $60 and $150 if registering in advance for all three days. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay; however, preregistration is requested. For more info on any ceremonies or to register, just be in contact.
