If you haven't heard, the salmon are seriously hurting (just Google: California, Salmon, 2008, fishing). In this ceremony we will explore the medicine and qualities of Salmon. We will gather on the East Beach at Crissy Field in San Francisco. We will meet in the farthest east part of the beach; plan to be on time or a bit early and of course, dress for the weather. This is also Fall Equinox and we will explore a bit the dual nature of Salmon as a resident of two worlds: salty and fresh waters. This ceremony will also serve as a preparation for the Salmon Honoring Ceremony on October 4th by introducing us all to Salmon a bit more.
All are welcome at monthly animal medicine circles.
Suggested donation: $25
Duration of ceremony: 1pm-4pm (ceremony completes at scheduled time, if you can stay please bring something for a healthy snack sharing afterward)
Ceremony will be held in conditions of heat, cold, light rain, and light smoke. Ceremony will be rescheduled in conditions of heavy rain, lightning, and heavy smoke. Dress to be comfortable in the conditions.
