Ancestors Trainings and Monthly Circles

Healing with the Love of the Ancestors: Weekend Intensive

This weekend intensive involves working with one's recent and more distant blood ancestors for the purposes of healing, forgiveness, and empowerment. Individuals choose beforehand which side of the family (1/4 of overall ancestry) will be the focus of the weekend. Prior knowledge of one's ancestry is useful but not required. Participants take steps to claim their positive ancestral inhertiance, assist the troubled dead in becoming supportive ancestors, and learn ways to transform intergenerational toxins. This training is especially useful for individuals who feel disconnected from their roots and who are generally not at peace with their family and history. Prior experience with ceremony and relating with the spirits is required in most cases. The next S.F. Bay Area weekend will be May 8th and 9th, 2010.  Space is limited to 10 participants.

Monthly Ancestor Circle

As of November 2009 the monthly ancestors circle in Sunnyvale is full. Space is limited to 8 participants per group and we meet one weeknight a month from 6:30-9pm to focus on ceremonial work with the ancestors.  The material we cover in monthly circles is basically the same as in the weekend intensive, and participants can work at their own speed or rhythm.  Participants are expected to make at least 2 of 3 monthly circles in any given season to hold their space in circle. Suggested donation per circle is $35. Be in touch for more information or to be on a wait list if a space opens up.

In addition to the weekend intensive and the monthly circle, I am also available to facilitate ancestor work in individual sessions and to offer talks or specialized ceremonies for groups or communities interested. This can include ceremonies of healing for the ancestors of the land in area of historic violence or other trauma. Ancestral healing can also include things like hauntings (which are often a case of the troubled dead causing a stir).
